About This Project
Engaged by Eneco to improve development processes within the existing teams and establish a headless architecture proof of concept on Sitecore 9. Eneco's CI/CD pipeline ran entirely in Azure Cloud, with GitHub for version control and Jira for scrum.
I implemented a custom content system that gave editors the ability to make rapid content changes without developer involvement, freeing up the team for feature work. I also refactored the AutoMapper implementation to remove numerous redundant type converters and unit tests, speeding up the test suite.
The headline deliverable was a fully functional Sitecore 9 JSS proof of concept, with newly built frontend components composing a complete homepage and landing page. This POC validated the headless direction for Eneco's future platform strategy.
