About This Project
Joined Brunel to build the headless MyBrunel environment on Sitecore 10 using Sitecore JSS. Brunel had recently migrated all infrastructure to Azure, consolidating CI/CD, source control, and scrum boards in Azure DevOps.
I implemented the Sitecore JSS headless rendering setup, wired it into the Azure DevOps build pipelines, and made significant improvements to the development process and solution architecture. I applied the Helix publishing pipeline to dramatically improve build speeds and refactored the AutoMapper implementation to simplify unit testing and reduce build overhead.
These improvements resulted in shorter builds, quicker development cycles, and a cleaner, more maintainable codebase. The JSS implementation provided a modern headless frontend layer that could be iterated on independently of the CMS backend.
